THE TOXIC VOTE: THE WEDDING THAT ALMOST ENDED IN TRAGEDY

The shattered glass on the silk carpet was now the only trace of the purity that once reigned in that room. The groom, Alejandro, stood motionless before the altar. His eyes, which moments before had gazed at Isabella with tenderness, were now fixed on the phone screen with the coldness of someone facing a death sentence. The video left no doubt: Isabella, with a chilling smile, had poured poison into the drink, ensuring the dose was enough to stop the heart in minutes.

Isabella, a woman whose beauty had been praised by the national press, felt her world crumble before her eyes. As the video continued to play, her demeanor changed abruptly. The mask of the sweet bride shattered, revealing eyes filled with deep hatred.

"Do you think you can humiliate me like this in front of everyone?" she hissed, ignoring the panicked whispers around her. "Alejandro, you are a weakling." You're always like this. Do you really think someone like me, of this noble lineage, would marry a man who can't even protect his own estate?

Alejandro, overcoming his initial shock, approached her. He didn't shout, nor did he cry. His voice was sharp as a knife cutting through the wind.

"You didn't marry for love, Isabella. You married for control of my estate. The 'accident' you orchestrated wasn't just to kill me; it was to turn me into your legal puppet before I'm gone."

Isabella laughed, a shrill, piercing laugh that sent shivers down the guests' spines.
