News of the "woman who came back to life at her own funeral" spread throughout the city.
Inspector Daniel Brooks was assigned to investigate.
He was the first to ask a question no one had anticipated.
"If Emily is still alive..."
"...then who confirmed her death?"
"How many people checked?"
"Are there cameras in the emergency room?"
When the police requested the hospital to provide the footage,
The system returned...
"Data lost."
It was only the exact time Emily was declared dead.
Daniel frowned.
"What a coincidence."
He ordered a server check.
The technician's face turned pale.
"The data is not corrupted."
"It was deleted."
"Intentionally."
Just then...
A nurse ran in.
"Patient Emily has disappeared!"
The entire hospital floor was in chaos.
The hallway cameras captured the final scene.
Emily didn't walk on her own.
A person in a white coat pushed her bed out of the room.
